About Me
I started taking railway photographs in 1971 shortly before the demise of the western region diesel hydraulics. Laira depot is still close to my heart!
Most of my pics were taken with Olympus OM equipment, with latterly the excellent Mamiya 645 for medium format black & white images.
I 'went digital' in 2007 with a Nikon D40 and latterly D80 and have been well pleased with the results.
I live in St Neots, Cambridgeshire alongside the ECML, and although my leanings will always be to the west, I thoroughly enjoy photographing the local scene, and am deeply indebted to the local gen site for supporting photography in our part of the world.
